JUNGLE BOOK REDESIGN

DESCRIPTION

The Jungle Book redesign was a collaborative project, with my primary focus on visual development. I created chapter header watercolor paintings representing key moments in the story. The narrative is set in the forests of Central India, which informed the visual direction. I explored a traditional Rajasthani miniature painting style, using its key characteristics, borders, dense narrative compositions, and a flattened sense of depth, to ground the imagery in its cultural context and reinforce authenticity. Thank you to Wren Richards and Ana Novoa for their collaboration and contribution to the project.
